Instructor: Jennifer Evenhus
Level: Intermediate
Start Date: 6/10/2008
End Date: 6/13/2008
Times:
 9am-4pm

Infuse your pastels with energy and bold color as you take them to the next level in this inspiring 4-day workshop. You’ll learn how composition, color, values and happy little accidents create dynamic paintings. If you love to experiment with new ideas and materials and are ready to move beyond the pretty picture, then this is the workshop for you. Students will explore shapes, negative space and color affects through discussion, mini-demonstrations, hands-on painting, and critiques. We’ll work from still lifes, photographs of the figure and landscape, and Plein Air studies - weather permitting. Emphasis will be on simplification and movement to produce energetic, show stopping works of art.

Supply List

Early Bird Tuition: $435  (cost of workshop if paid in full at least 3 months prior to scheduled start date)
